Phuket: Cheap Accommodation Thailand Islands - 2016

This visit to Phuket took me to the north-east part of the Island. I was staying in a resort area in Phuket full of hotel guests for families in the town of Bang Tao. I really needed to find a long stay cheap apartment on this big island.

Accommodation On The Island

If your super rich then great, you can book any 5 star resort that you like. But if you have less money then cheap will be your best friend.

I was here for 5 weeks. So I immediately found a some cheap accommodation. The cost of my apartment was 6000 baht. Which is really cheap as the hotels cost upwards of 1000 baht a night, and anyone who's visited Phuket will know that its one of the most expensive areas and island in Thailand.

For 6000 baht I had a double bed, television, shower (cold), fridge, sink and wi-fi - it was a great deal. The apartment is located within a 15 minute walk of Bang Tao beach. And five minutes from the English summer camp I was working at - happy days!

For a lone traveler these apartments are ideal as they save you money, even for couple's and to get about you can hire a scooter for around 3000 baht for the month.
