1. Work out what Visa you need before entering the countries - many of time I have found this out. I couldn't go to Vietnam from Thailand as it takes 3 days to process and I was on my last day of my visa in Thailand. So I had to go Cambodia. Luckily Cambodia have VISA on arrival - which means you pay as you go in.
2. Book flights early, yes you'd think people would already do this. And because i'm a cheapo I wouldn't pay for an expensive flight which meant I had to travel more than 36 hours via bus and train - although the train only cost me a £1 from Bangkok to Poipet (Thai/Cambodia border)!
3. Don't forget your toothbrush.
4. Make sure you plan in advance your accommodation again I am a massive fail at this and Tuk Tuk Drivers see me coming and rip me off! Oh and I hate Tuk Tuks! The amount of time's I have shouted at drivers - I'm suprised I haven't been knocked out yet - as my friend says - they are only doing their job.
This guy clearly doesn't need a T-Shirt!
5. Wear a T-Shirt that says - I DON'T WANT A TUK-TUK and I AM NOT A SEX TOURIST!
6. Buy food off the street, although you might feel like you have stomach cancer afterwards!
