Thai Majesty Sends Condelences To King Phillipe

Thailand / Belgium: After the latest terror attack in Belgium on Wednesday. The Thai Royal Family sent their condolences to King Phillipe of Belgium

'The Queen and I are shocked and deeply distressed by the reports of the terrorist attacks in Brussels resulting in the senseless loss of innocent lives and injuries. We wish to express our heartfelt sympathy to Your Majesty, the Belgian people and particularly the members of the bereaved families who have suffered from this tragic incident.' stated His Majesty of Thailand.'

The Thai Government also sent out a statement as Thai-Immigration instructed the security surrounding airports and land crossings to be tightened. The governments statement read:

'The government strongly condemns the deplorable terrorist attacks which resulted in the loss of innocent lives as well as those who were injured in this horrific event. Thailand extends her deepest sympathy and condolences to the bereaved families of those who were affected by this tragic incident,Thailand joins hands with the Belgian government and the international community in the fight against the threats of heinous and inhumane acts of terrorism.'
'Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwon, who oversees national security, said anti-terrorism measures were in place as attacks could happen anywhere, particularly at airports and on trains.' stated Bangkokpost.com

All security will be very strict on checking visitors passports - already the Thai overstay procedure was implemented on the 20th March 2016.
