Bangkok, On the 3rd September 2012 Red Bull's Future Heir Allegedly Killed A Thai Cop

Red Bull's Billionaire Business Man - Chaleo Yoovidhya's grandson allegedly killed a police man in a hit and run incident that happened over 3 years ago. Vorayuth sped into a police officer (allegedly) whilst driving his Ferrari and dragged the police office about 200 meters up Soi 47 in the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok. Vorayuth has initially stated that the police officer had all of a sudden come out of nowhere and had cut him up leading to the accident.

Today, the Royal Thailand Police have ordered that the investigation into this case is sped up. Already Vorayuth has been let off with some of this crime due to the statue of limitations in Thailand. The charge which was dismissed under the statue of limitations was for speeding.

The Red Bull Billionaires grandson still face other charges; speeding, reckless driving causing a fatality, and failing to stop and help.

So far there have been 5 indictments that have prevented this case from moving forwards, the latest Vorayuth had said he was to ill for anything to commence.

Royal Thai Police Commisioner Chakthip Chaijinda has now said he will find out why the case hasn't moved forwards, he stated:

'There are steps involved when police work on a case. We have to find out which one of these steps is causing the delay. If it gets stuck at the prosecution stage it is (their responsibility). If it is bogged down at the police investigation stage, we need to speed things up. If officers are negligent, they will face disciplinary action' - Coconuts
