British Traveler Goes Missing In Thailand

It has been reported that 21 year old Jordan Jacobs from Lyneham, Wiltshire, England - has gone missing with a Thai man in his late 20's.

Today the Daily Mail stated that Jordan had gone missing with a Thai man on a Phi Phi Island - after been spotted hitching a ride from a local man. The following day he sent a message to his mum in the UK saying that:

he would never see them again and that he was sorry he could not have said goodbye to them.

After receiving this message totally out of the blue, his family told him to contact them. So he made a call to his mother saying:

'That the Thai man would not let him leave. That he was scared of him'- Ms Jordan said today.

This phone call was made on a phone belonging to a tourist. The tourist states that he approached him wearing only shorts and asked to use his phone, a restaurant owner also confirmed this.

The family believes his disappearance is connected to the Thai man, who Jordan's backpacker friends say either owns or works on a farm on Ko Phi Phi Don.

'There was no more contact until Monday morning where my brother appeared online, and after few attempts a I was able to speak to him on the phone using the Facebook wifi messenger,' Ms Jacobs adds.

'I was on the phone for 90 seconds. He couldn't or wouldn't tell me where he was. He said "I need to keep you all safe".

'I asked if he was ok, where he was, and he said "I've said too much. I can't talk. I love you." And that was it. We've had no contact since.'
